Installing Font Awesome

Flipit uses Font Awesome to make your site retina ready. Unfortunately due to Theme Forest rules we were not allowed to include the font with the theme, even though it is completely open licence.

It is easy to install however:)

Complete the following steps to install the files:

Step 1

Click here to download Font-Awesome.

Step 2

Extract the zip. Locate the “font” folder.

Now ftp the contents of said folder…

…to your theme directory:

font/ folder -> flipit/images/

Now check your theme. If you’ve followed the steps correctly you should now see the social links and icons all working.

Note: Make sure you are only copying over the fonts from the zip file. Copying over all files will affect the file structure.
